Capaia ONE 2017

Deep, dark and handsom. A powerful nose dominated by flavours of cassis and a hint of oak, making the palate to crave for more. This elegant, rich blend with abundant dark fruits, complemented by the Shiraz spice doesn’t disappoint on the palate. Full-bodied, balanced and well-integrated this wine leaves an aftertaste that lasts forever. Firm, but supple tannins and medium-high alcohol bestows the backbone that ensure well-aging of this gentleman.

All the different aspects involved in creating this wine join together in the bottle to display a well-balanced wine. Aromas and flavours of black fruits, with a hint of herbs, blends well with the smokiness and spiciness imparted from spending time in 60% new French oak.

Capaia Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot 2017

The Cabernet Sauvignon is rounded of by the Merlot, adding juicy red fruit flavours to the ripe black fruit flavours with nuances of spice and herbs. This Bordeaux style blend is well-crafted with firm tannins, enhancing the ageing potential.

Capaia Shiraz 2018 -  SOLD OUT

Dark, deep ruby red with a forthcoming nose of prunes, black cherries, raspberries, forest floor, bacon, cedar. The entry is dry, with peppery, tangy red fruit and smoky flavours tantalising the palate. This medium- to full-bodied wine has superb aging potential, yet also very approachable at this early stage.

Pale straw in colour. Forthcoming nose with tropical typicity, expressing layered notes of passion fruit, guava and grapefruit.

Capaia ONE 2014

Deep garnet in colour, this Cabernet-dominated blend shows intense aromas of ripe dark berries with nuances of oak. The palate follows through with a powerful mix of deep, dark berry flavours. Smoke tobacco supports the rich texture. Although the tannins are firm they are soft so the fruits give lots of flesh on the mid-palate. Carpaccio meatiness are enhanced by a touch of spiciness with a lingering finish which invites you to the next glass.

A vibrant, lively wine with an appealing colour. The aim was to achieve a “salmon pink” colour by minimising any skin contact, also known as Amiel style.

Although youthful and crisp, the wine is easy to drink and a real crowd pleaser.

Clear and brilliant this wine shows a pale straw colour. The nose is clean and fresh with a forthcoming intensity. Exotic aromas of tropical fruit adds to the attractive freshness.

A dry and smooth entry with flavours of ripe pineapple, guava and melon that follow through. A crisp acidity, well balanced with the fruity flavours adds to the lingering aftertaste.
