South Africa's most important producers – as identified by a recent reader poll conducted by WINE Magazine – will be present at WineX. SA’s Best Five Wineries (Vergelegen, Thelema, Hamilton Russell, Rustenberg and Kanonkop) will all be there. As will four of the top five Emerging Wineries and three of the top five Best Value-For-Money Cellars. And over 60% of the members of the Cape Winemakers Guild will be offering their wines at the Cape's biggest and most prestigious tasting.  

In a major innovation, RMB WineX Cape Town, now in its fourth consecutive year, will extend Wine Route Cellar Door sales, at farm prices, with a SHOP@SHOW facility that will include home delivery at no extra cost. This breakthrough will make a visit to the Cape Town International Convention Centre in late August and early September more of a virtual trip around the Cape winelands than ever before.

Sponsored by Rand Merchant Bank and partnered by British Airways Comair and 567 Cape Talk, WineX offers a comprehensive showcase of over 1 200 wines per night from more than 200 of the country’s top wineries. Handcrafted cheese and olive oils will be offered to taste and buy. Imported and local wine accessories and glassware will also be on show for the anticipated 3 000 visitors per night.
