Small batches of Capaia’s vintages produced from 2003 onwards have been kept back and are now being released for purchase at the Estate in a specially produced wooden box as the “Privatsammlung von Ingrid Baroness von Essen”.
Two vertical sets of Ingrid Baroness von Essen’s Private Collection are available. The Capaia range, which is a Bordeaux blend, with vintages from 2003 – 2008 and the Blue Grove Hill Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon range with vintages from 2004 to 2009. Included are award-wining wines with 5 star ratings from Wine Magazine and 90+ ratings from Wine Spectator.
We are excited to share these special vintage wines with the public so that they can experience the love and passion of Ingrid Baroness von Essen in establishing Capaia to create wines above all.
These wines have been stored over many years in ideal conditions in the History Cellar of Capaia; optimally aged and ready for consumption, or to add exceptional value to any private collection.
